This Post Will Only Take About 60 Seconds of Your Life

Please take about 10 seconds to watch this video:

I saw this and asked myself,
"What are the ten second time wasters in my life?"

Psalm 119:37a: "Turn my eyes away from worthless things..."

Colossians 3:17a: "And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus..."

Psalm 104:33: "I will sing to the LORD all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live."

Psalm 90:12: "Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom."

Ephesians 5:11-16, The Message
"Don't waste your time on useless work, mere busywork, the barren pursuits of darkness. Expose these things for the sham they are. It's a scandal when people waste their lives on things they must do in the darkness where no one will see. Rip the cover off those frauds and see how attractive they look in the light of Christ.

Wake up from your sleep,
Climb out of your coffins;
Christ will show you the light!
So watch your step. Use your head. Make the most of every chance you get. These are desperate times!

Father God, I love You. I know that Jesus came to give me life, and to the full. Help me to spend my life and time like Jesus did. Help me to go where You lead me, not where I wish to be. May I give You all the praise and the honor and the glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Okay leave it to me to make light of a very wonderful and thought provoking post. But I was wondering if dusting and vacuuming would be considered "busywork"? Please let me know A.S.A.P. LOL.
Are you laughing my friend? I hope so! You know I love you!
Hugs.

One thing that I have been consistently asking of God and of myself...

Are they seeing your light, Father, through me? If not, shine brighter, bigger, fuller, and with the glory of heaven.

The fact that he allows me the privilege, always drives me to my knees in surrender.

A good "waste" of 60 seconds.

Sure does put into perspective the many little ways we waste our time. They add up, though, and that's the trouble!
